My Keurig Won't Brew a Full Cup

I know, “needle” sounds scary, like something out of a hospital drama. But really, it’s just a tiny metal tube that punctures the K-Cup. Over time, coffee grounds and mineral deposits can clog that thing like a hairball in a shower drain.
When it’s clogged, your Keurig gasps for water instead of flowing freely. That’s why you get a weak cup—or less than a cup. The fix? Grab a paperclip (unfolded, please) and gently poke into that top needle.
Don’t be shy—wiggle it around a little. You might see a few coffee grounds fall out, which is both gross and deeply satisfying. Then run a water-only cycle to flush the victory out.
The Bottom Needle: Also a Jerk
Your Keurig has two needles—one top, one bottom. The bottom needle is the one that drains the brewed coffee into your cup. If you don’t use a K-Cup, you can see it at the bottom of the pod holder.
Check it for debris. Sometimes a tiny fragment of a coffee filter or a rogue bean husk gets stuck. A toothpick works wonders here—just be gentle, because you’re performing delicate surgery on your beloved caffeine machine.
